Explore the depths of this fascinating area and its aquatic life on an unforgettable trip to Coral Island. A short distance from Rincón de Guayabitos, this nature reserve is easily accessible by kayak or boat. Days of beach and sun, and tours to practice snorkeling in its warm waters, await you. Observe the variety of bird species that inhabit the island, including the majestic frigate. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the nature of Nayarit will provide you with ideal settings for relaxation and adventure.
Coral Island and its smaller neighbor, Crab Island, are located about 3 kilometers from Guayabitos Beach. Both considered protected ecological reserves of the state of Nayarit, are the natural habitat of a great variety of flora and fauna; therefore, any person who enters its territory must do so with respect, interfering as little as possible in the biological development of the species of turtles, pelicans, seagulls, earwigs and booby birds, among others, that populate them. In the vicinity of these islands it is customary to practice diving since the waters that surround them are home to one of the most valuable treasures of the bay: the coral reefs of Guayabitos. Do not forget to visit them, they will surprise and fascinate you with their exuberant marine fauna and flora: manta rays, turtles, starfish, white flower, and multicolored fish, among others.
